We often hear from readers who have lost contact with their loved ones due to Scientology’s strict “disconnection” policy, which forbids its members from maintaining relationships with anybody who is critical of the Church.
Earlier this week, we were sent some recent propaganda from Scientology’s UK headquarters in Sussex, known as Saint Hill in which senior executives can be seen saluting the camera, and we thought it we would share it in case it helps people identify their family members stuck inside.

Notably, there are a number of elderly staff members seen in this picture. Sea Org staff sign one billion year contracts, dedicating their lives to working for Scientology. There is no retirement plan, pension of time off for the elderly and people are expected to work as long as they are physically able.
We count 86 heads. Considering Saint Hill is the largest Scientology complex in the United Kingdom, and regardewd a site of international significance within the so-called religion, we expected to see more staff posing for this photo – especially as Scientology claims to be “the fastest growing religion on planet Earth” with millions of followers worldwide.
If you are affected by Scientology’s harmful practice of disconnection, or need assistance escaping the Sea Org, please consider contacting The Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation.
We hope this photo allows families to identify their loved ones.
